So yesterday I took a trip, actually several trips to Dinosaur Park (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dinosaurs%20Park/229/234/22), This a real ambitious sim owned by a group called the Dinosaur’s council, started by Nargus Asturias (Nargus Lab website). Nargus runs Nargus Lab whose motto is “The Past is Our Future. The web site has photos and a little history of the park…

If you ever wanted to follow the marks of Dr. Alan Grant and his colleagues from the movie “Jurassic Park”, a visit to Nargus Asturias Dinosaurs Park is highly recommended to you. The spacious area surrounded by a 100.000 volt fence offers the right stuff for dino scientists. Before you enter through a high-security gate you will automatically be advised on the dos and don’ts. For example you must not wear any weapons or try to kill a dinosaur…

For fans of “Jurrasic Park,” or dinos in general, the sim “Dinosaurs Park” is one sim to visit.

Entering the sim, one is greeted by a wooden door leading into a domed structure. One can occasionally hear the loudspeaker blaring announcements concerning the dinosaurs outside, “feeding will be done by park security only.” Inside the first dome were various pictures of dinosaur avatars, as well as dino avatars for two-day rentals. A teleporter leads to a laboratory with containers just big enough to hold a person. Looking around outside, one can see some dinosaurs, along with an occasional sign “PLEASE SAY XX HELLO DINOSAURS” with the word “NOT” obviously scratched out.
